“Banana pods is a repeat pattern of a common motif used in Siapo and Elei printing. It is symbolic of the hanging banana pod. I wanted to play more with the colour brown and it’s rich capacity to have a place in menswear this was pulled into effect. Timid yet playful when you lean closer.”
